SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” Will Overhaul 9 Engines for GTS Operator of Ukraine

On December 29, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” signed the contracts with Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC for overhaul and maintenance of gas turbine engines operated at several compressor stations.

A total of 9 gas turbine engines of different power will be overhauled under the terms of the contracts. As a result of overhaul, the engines life will be extended by 20 thousand hours. The total amount of contracts is about UAH 370 million.

According to the concluded overhaul contracts, the gas turbine engines subjected to overhaul will be delivered to SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” from “Stavyshchens’ka”, “Grebenkivs’ka”, “Romnens’ka”, “Zinkiv”, “Reshetylivs’ka”, “Husyatyn”, “Sophiyivs’ka”, and “Bar” compressor stations.

Three of the nine engines are scheduled for overhaul in January 2021.

In 2020, the companies increased cooperation significantly. In general, during the year, in order to ensure the smooth operation of gas transmission system, GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC purchased overhaul and maintenance services for 20 gas turbine engines manufactured by SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt”.

In July 2020, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” and GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC concluded the contracts for overhaul and maintenance of 11 engines for a total contract sum of about UAH 490 million.

By the end of 2020, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” overhauled five DT71 engines for a total of UAH 130 million. Specialists of Technical Support Department of Marketing Division dismantled three engines, mounted and put into operation four DT71 engines. As early as in January 2021, it is planned to put into operation one DT71 engine and ship two DN80 engines after the overhaul.

Currently, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” is involved in the implementation of several projects to modernize the stations of GTS of Ukraine. In total, about 110 gas turbine engines manufactured by SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” are operated at 20 compressor stations of GTS of Ukraine.
