SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” is planning to participate in the project of expanding energy capacity of Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS) in Kazakhstan.
On 14-15 January, Mr. Azamat BITURIN, General Director of АО “Zapadno-Kazakhstanskaia Mashinostroitelnaia Kompaniia” (JSC ZKMK) and Mr. Dauren SISENOV, General Director of Tovarischestvo S Ogranichennoj Otvetstvennost’ju “Investitsionnaja Kompanija “Gidromash-Orion” paid a visit to SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt”. In the course of the talks, principal agreements were reached on cooperation between SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” and JSC ZKMK within the framework of the project aimed at the capacity expansion of the Ural gas turbine power station (West-Kazakhstan region, the Republic of Kazakhstan).
The Ural GTPS is a gas turbine power station of cogeneration type and comprises three power-generating units. It was constructed in the latter half of the 2000s. In 2013, the power station reached the design capacity – 48 MW. Its power generating units are equipped with the gas turbine engines by AT “Kazanskoye MPO” (Kazan, Russia).
The project on expanding the GTPS energy capacity provides for construction of new power-generating units with total power output of 30MW. SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” will develop and suggest its proposals as to the versions of set-completeness of the new power-generating units by making use of the Enterprise’s products.
In the course of negotiations, the parties also discussed new aspects of business development that are of mutual interest. Apart from that, the talks also covered such points as collaboration in the project of setting up joint multi-vender service center in the Kazakhstan territory as well as SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” participation in the projects of performing overhaul, upgrading and replacing the existing fleet of gas pumping units and gas turbine power-generating units.
