SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” will supply equipment for JSC “Odessa Port Plant”
On 22 December, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” and JSC “Odessa Port Plant” signed a Contract for the manufacturing of gas turbine equipment. The Contract value exceeds 130 million UAH.
The Enterprise will supply the Customer the equipment for updating the ammonia transfer pump unit. The launching of the updated unit is scheduled for 2021. The gas turbine equipment will be provided with the system of engine remote control.
Mr. Yuriy Deriy, Marketing & Sales Director of SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” stated the following: “Our designers do not rest on their laurels, we are always on the move, and today we can compete with the worldwide leaders. We suggested our updated engines to Odessa Port Plant. We have essentially increased the level of automatization of the state-of-the-art model. Upon completing the engine installation activities, it is planned to install the engine remote monitoring system. The deadline under the contract is rather strict. As early as October next year we should launch the unit at the Odessa Port Plant site. Yet, we have ample opportunity to do so”.
It is worth noting that this is not a debut in collaboration between the companies. In 2000, SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” carried out an integrated modification of two ammonia transfer pump units, which resulted in replacement of Rolls-Royce (UK) gas turbine engines and associated equipment with the engines and equipment of SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” make. Over a period of 20 years, the engines accumulated running time has amounted to nearly 90 000 hours and they have operated the assigned life time till discarding.
SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” is an internationally known designer and manufacturer of gas turbine equipment for Navy, of gas compressor units for main gas pipelines, power generation systems and equipment of other industrial applications. The gas turbine engines developed by SE “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” have been effectively operating on various types of fuel and under adverse climatic conditions.
