SE «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT» has recently signed the Contract for supply of Gas Turbine Aggregates for Indian Navy.
The said Contract has been concluded between State Enterprise «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT» and Goa Shipyard Limited, an Indian company for supply of two modern aggregates М7N.2 for the Indian Navy needs.
Plans are underway to fit new multipurpose frigates with the gas turbine aggregates. The ships will be constructed at Goa Shipyard Limited. In accordance with the Agreement, the first aggregate shall be ready in December next year, whereas the other one – in July 2023.
The Aggregates are equipped with a new microprocessor-based control system developed by «ZORYA»-«NASHPROEKT». The control system is manufactured by employing the components of Woodward company make, the company being among world leaders in designing and producing control systems and components thereof, for gas turbines in particular.
Goa Shipyard Limited is an Indian State-owned shipbuilding company located on the west coast of India in Vasco-da-Gama, Goa.
India is a strategic partner of SE «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT». The Enterprise has been cooperating with the Indian side over several decades.
Throughout the past few weeks, SE «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT» has concluded contracts with Indian customers for a total amount of around 100 MIO US dollars.
There are over 150 gas turbine engines designed and produced by «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT» that are fitted and operated aboard the Indian Navy ships of various classes.
On 28 January 2016, SE «ZORYA»-«MASHPROEKT» and the Ministry of Defence of India signed the General Agreement on cooperation, which determines the field and principles of interaction between the Parties for the next 10 years.
