Zorya-Mashproekt and NUS have agreed on cooperation

Zorya-Mashproekt and Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv) have concluded an agreement on cooperation.

The parties have agreed to carry out scientific and technical cooperation aimed at enhancing reliability and operating life of gas turbine engines.

Another sphere of cooperation will be coordination of activities related to multistage training of specialists, their subsequent employment as well as upgrading skills of Zorya-Mashproekt employees.

General Director of Zorya-Mashproekt Denys Gordiyenko states:

Our design and research departments constantly work to improve operating characteristics of gas turbine engines. The work includes not only developing promising projects but also modernizing our serial products. We are expecting that joining efforts with NUC specialists in the form of joint applied projects, using labs and testbeds in experimental research will enable us to widen the scope of such work and to reduce their duration. We are also hoping not only to hire young employees to work at our enterprise from among the university graduates but also to take part in the education process and to direct it with the aim of future employment of the students at Zorya-Mashproekt.

The Agreement contains the list of fields of joint work and other kinds of cooperation. Subsequent cooperation will be effected on the basis of economic agreements to perform specific research work and to render services.
