Zorya-Mashproekt SE Delivers Gas Turbine for India’s Naval Ships

Zorya-Mashproekt has been engaged on a series of contracts to supply the big scope of gas turbine units. The contracts were signed in Delhi, on 12 September.

The range of delivery covers gas turbine engines, gear boxes, and spare parts packages. The units will be installed on the Indian naval ships of the different classes. Under signed contract we will also provide training courses for the specialists from India and engineering support.

Under the terms of the contract the shipping and delivery of the goods will be carried out by lots. The first delivery will be held in December 2019. The implementation of the contracts will be lasted till 2020.

India is a strategic partner of Zorya-Mashproekt. The enterprise has been cooperating with Indian side for decades. The ships of different classes have been equipped with more than 150 gas turbine units manufactured by Zorya-Mashproekt.

We recall that on 28 January Zorya-Mashproekt SE and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India signed a General Agreement on Cooperation and according to it the sphere and the guidelines for the relationship of the parties are defined for the next ten years.
