Ukraine has inherited a unique legacy from the Soviet Union – a fully self-sufficient industry integrating the design, development, testing, and series production of the gas turbine engines (GTE) of various power output and purpose, as well as various gearboxes and gas turbine units (GTU), using the capacities of the Union Design Bureau “Mashproekt” and the Yuzhnii (Southern) Turbine Plant “Zorya”, both located in the city of Mykolayiv.
